St Nicholas' Chapel Kings Lynn

The “Friends of St Nicholas’ Chapel” is a group formed to support the aims of the Churches Conservation Trust. We are a registered Charity ( No. 1099693 ) and seeks to draw together those who care about the Chapel and who wish to contribute to the preservation of the building in order to restore the chapel to its former role of importance in the heart of King’s Lynn.

The Friends have also been actively promoting the use of this unique building by all members of the community for learning, meetings, concerts, exhibitions and other such similar events.

The Churches Conservation Trust has been awarded £82,500 to work with the Friends and secure the future of the 600 year old church, which towers over St Ann’s Street in the historic North End part of the town.

There are currently about 100 friends and from them there is a committee who meet regularly with the CCT who are the current managers of the Chapel.

Should you wish to become a member you will find an application form under 'Documents'. You will receive regular newsletters about the Chapel and be invited to annual social event and the AGM.
